Alison Blaisdell will be entering her first year at MIT as the new office manager for recreational sports on the Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation team. She supports the recreational sports management for a variety of administrative functions, and also assists in daily activities such as scheduling, organizing meetings, preparing documents, reconciling cash reports and preparing deposits for review.

Previous to her employment at DAPER, Blaisdell held the position of Program Manager at Health Fitness where she developed annual business plans, managed client relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction, and directed the implementation of individual and group fitness programs.  She also served as Program Coordinator and Health Fitness Professional for Health Fitness at Fidelity Investments from 2006-2010 where she coordinated delivery of various health management programs and led various marketing initiatives.

She is certified in personal training and as a body training systems instructor, Blaisdell is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelors degree in exercise science with a Masters of business administration from Fitchburg State College in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
