A familiar face to the MIT Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (DAPER), Jamie Drahos returns to the Engineers as the department’s Director of Club Sports, Intramurals and Sports Camps. She previously was on the staff at Boston University where she was the Assistant Manager of Club Sports and Intramurals.
At Boston University, Drahos worked with a club sports program that includes over 30 programs. She managed and supervised the day-to-day operations of the program, including working with the clubs on facility scheduling, budgeting, fundraising, travel, hiring of coaches, goal setting, recruiting and marketing.
From 2008-10 Drahos served as the Assistant Director of Aquatics at MIT. She also has worked with the recreation programs at Saint Joseph’s University and Ithaca College. Drahos graduated in 2003 from Franklin and Marshall College with a B.A. in business management and holds a Master of Education degree in sport and recreation administration from Temple University.
A 2003 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, Drahos holds a BA in business management. She went on to earn a Master's degree in sport and recreation management at Temple University in 2005.
