David Glass was named the Director of Varsity Equipment Operations for MIT in September of 2015. He joined the Engineers after spending three years as the Equipment Manager and Coordinator of Camps and Clinics at Stonehill College.
At Stonehill, Glass managed the athletic department's equipment room while also overseeing the department's successful summer camps and clinics program. Prior to Stonehill, he completed an internship at fellow Northeast-10 Conference member Assumption College in the athletic department during the spring of 2013 where he assisted the communication and media relations department and worked with the compliance director. Glass also served as assistant athletic director at West Springfield High School during the fall of 2012, while the school's director of athletics was on leave.
Glass is a 2010 graduate of Westfield State College where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in business management. He worked within the Owls athletic department, including time four years as an equipment room staff member. Glass was a four-year letterwinner on the Westfield State baseball team, helping the team capture a two MASCAC Championships. He earned his Master's Degree of Education from Springfield College in May 2013.
