Thomas Cronan has held the position of Head Athletic Trainer at MIT since 2001. He received his B.S. in Athletic Training from Northeastern University, an EdM from Boston University, and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
Cronan has led an effort to develop MIT as an effective clinical placement site for BU undergraduate students studying to become athletic trainers. He holds licensure as an athletic trainer in the state of Massachusetts.
Prior to his arrival at MIT, Cronan was an athletic trainer at Boston University for 11 years. He resides in Norwood, Mass. with his wife, Dotty and their daughters, Erin and Kelly.
