Coming on the heels of one of the most successful campaigns in Institute history, MIT placed 11th among all Division III schools in the National Association of College Directors of Athletics (NACDA) annual Learfield Sports Directors Cup. This was the highest ranking for the Engineers in the 14-year history of the program and the first time they were the best performers in the New England Womens and Mens Athletic Conference (NEWMAC). CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Four members of the MIT rifle squad were recently named to the Mid-Atlantic Conference All-Academic Team. Seniors Emily Houston and Jennifer Paek, junior Justine Li, and sophomore Nigel Kojimoto all earned the honor for their outstanding efforts on the range and in the classroom. The quartet was the driving force in a stellar season for the Cardinal and Gray, which finished 14-3 in smallbore and 14-3 in air rifle. READ MORE

The MIT rifle team closed out a successful campaign in fitting fashion winning the smallbore expert division with a 2203-2196 victory over the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia at the Mid Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships hosted by U.S. Coast Guard Academy this past Saturday.
