CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The MIT squash
team’s best chance to capture a game against visiting Brown
University fell short as Robert Habib dropped a 13-11, 11-9, 11-2
decision in the sixth slot of a 9-0 team defeat to the Bears. The
Engineers fell to 3-11, while Brown improved to 3-7.
John Kucharczyk, in the fourth position, and Connor Kirschbaum, at
No. 9, also battled well in their first games despite 11-9
setbacks.
The Bears got their victories from Ben Clayman, Patrick Davis, Adam
Greenberg, Eamon O’Connor, Chris Holter, Tucker Bryan, Alex
Heitzman, Alex Hsu, and John Oberbeck.
MIT will next compete at the College Squash Association (CSA) Team
Championship at Yale University on Feb. 19-21.
