CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Seven student-athletes will be joining the MIT baseball program as the freshman class for the 2013 season head coach Andy Barlow has announced. The group includes a pair of players from Florida as well as a pair from the West Coast that will bolster the ranks of the Engineers, who finished the 2012 season winning 11 of their last 12 games to finish 22-14.
"We are very excited about our incoming freshmen class," remarked Barlow. "The coaching staff fully expects that several of these talented first-year players will make an immediate impact on our program and to help fill the void created by the graduation of some key players off our 2012 squad."
