Baseball Announces 2015 Recruiting Class

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – A high school All-American and an MLB Draft pick highlight a nine-member incoming freshmen class for the MIT baseball team. The group will join a squad that turned in one of the most successful seasons in baseball history at MIT in 2014 when it won its first New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) title and advanced to within a pair of wins at the NCAA Tournament from advancing to the Division III College World Series.

"This recruiting class features three valedictorians, two class presidents, a salutatorian, a first team high school All-American and a MLB draft pick," remarked head coach Andy Barlow. "We are extremely excited to welcome these student-athletes to campus in the fall and add them to a solid core of returning players that will allow us to keep moving the program forward and to build upon our recent successes."
