Nate Rodman, who was a four-year starter and a 2016 graduate for the MIT baseball program, begins his first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Engineers in 2017.

At MIT, Rodman appeared in 147 career games with 176 hits and a career .305 batting average. A three-time NEWMAC Academic All-Conference selection, he started all 37 games as a senior as he finished with a .292 batting average and at one point put together a season-high 18-game hitting streak.

A native of Corvallis, Oregon, Rodman graduated from MIT with a degree in mechanical and electrical engineering, along with a concentration in music.
