After playing for MIT for two seasons, Chris Hendrix will serve as a student assistant coach in 2013.
2012: Appeared in 11 games and started seven on the bump for the Engineers as a senior ... his 1.96 ERA was good enough for fourth best in the NEWMAC and also ranked him 54th in the country ... finished the year with a 5-1 record with 28 K's only walking eight in 46 innings of work ... gave up one run in his first action of the year against Keene (3/3) in two and a third innings ... didn't allow another run until a game against Coast Guard (4/1) going 15.1 scoreless innings ... made his first start of the year against Eastern Nazarene going five innings without allowing a run and giving up just four hits striking out five (3/21) ... fanned six batters against Clark (4/14) in seven strong innings allowing just one run on two hits.
2011: Eight appearances out of the bullpen for the Engineers ... did not allow a run in his first three outings of the season ... tossed a pair of scoreless innings at Springfield (4/9) ... scoreless inning against UMass Boston (4/28) ... 2.1 scoreless innings against Suffolk (5/8) with a pair of strikeouts.
