MIT Baseball Players Compete in Summer Leagues

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - This past summer, 10 current MIT baseball players participated in summer leagues around the country. Jason Witzberger, Jay Turner, and David Nole all earned various awards for their summer accomplishments and were named to their league's respective all-star teams.

In addition, freshman Jason Rome won the American Legion Connecticut Zone 7 Sportsmanship and Scholarship Awards, while Jay Turner also picked up a scholarship award from the Boston Park League. Locally, Witzberger and Turner competed in the Boston Park League, one of the top amateur baseball leagues in New England.
