SACRAMENTO, Calif. – To wrap up the season, the MIT men’s heavyweight crew traveled to sunny California for the 111th annual IRA National Championship Regatta on Lake Natoma, which took place from Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2. The Engineers entered just one varsity four boat, which raced on all three days of competition, ending their weekend in the Final 3 race.

The Engineers entered two lightweight boats and one that was a mixture of heavyweight and lightweight rowers.
PRINCETON, N.J. - MIT men's heavyweight crew team took part in its second regatta of the season when it traveled to New Jersey for the Princeton Chase on Sunday morning. The Engineers fielded a pair eights in the varsity competition, a race that included 49 boats.

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – MIT heavyweight crew alum Stephen Young (ME '09) will represent the United States at the 2012 World Rowing Championships which will be held Aug. 15-Aug. 19 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria as announced by USRowing. This will be Young’s second time competing at the World Rowing Championships after taking fourth in the men’s pair with coxswain and fifth in the lightweight men’s eight at the 2010 World Rowing Championships in Lake Karapiro, New Zealand.
