CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT was at the head of the class when the 2012 New England Football Conference All-Academic team was released this week. The Engineers led the league with 28 players earning the honor; the second consecutive year that MIT has had 28 players on the list.
To qualify for the team, a player must have completed three semesters at the same institution and maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. A total of 214 student-athletes from all 16 member institutions collected accolades. MIT's honorees are listed below.
