MIT Places League-High 44 Student-Athletes on NEFC All-Academic Team

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT was at the head of the class once again as the Engineers led the New England Football Conference with 44 names on the 2013 Academic All-Conference team was released by the league. MIT's 44 honorees are the most in the program's history, surpassing last season's record number of 39. Endicott College was second with 35 selections.

To qualify for the team, a player must have completed three semesters at the same institution and maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. A total of 178 student-athletes from all eight member institutions collected accolades. MIT's honorees are listed below.
