Westwood, Mass. (October 10) -- MIT freshman kicker Mark Wright (Fort Worth, Texas) has been named as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Football Special Teams Athlete of the Week for his performance in a home win over Maine Maritime Academy.
In a home NEWMAC win over Maine Maritime, Wright accounted for 15 points with three field goals and six extra points. He converted on all three field goals with distances of 24, 25 and a career-long 35 yards.
