In his third season on the MIT coaching staff in 2014 is Nick Perron. He will be serving as the program’s receivers coach. He is also working with MIT Recreation as a Membership Services Associate.
Perron’s prior football experience before coming to MIT was as a member of the coaching staff at Killingly High School in Danielson, Connecticut for three seasons starting in 2004. While there he served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, preparing game plans and scouting reports while also conducting individual quarterback drills and meetings.
Prior to coming to the MIT staff, Perron was a branch manager for Car Group Holdings and a Membership and Guest Services Associate at the Foxwoods Resort Casino’s Lake of Isles Golf Resort.
Perron graduated in 2004 with a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in sport management from Nichols College. He was a member of the varsity football team at Nichols for three seasons, starting at wide receiver for two years and at quarterback for one, setting a then school record with three TD passes in one game. While a part of the Bison program he contributed to teams that played in the ECAC Championship game (2000) and was the Boyd Division Champion of the New England Football Conference (2001).
