CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Coming on the heels of one of the most successful campaigns in Institute history, MIT placed 11th among all Division III schools in the National Association of College Directors of Athletics (NACDA) annual Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup. This was the highest ranking for the Engineers in the 14-year history of the program and the first time they were the best performers in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. For the second year in a row, MIT received a trio of Pilgrim League All-Conference accolades. Eric Zuk collected his second straight Second-Team selection while Bryan Beller and Carl Tilbury earned their first awards by being picked to the First and Second Teams, respectively.

With the win, the Pride improved to 11-5 on the year, while the Engineers saw their season end with a ledger of 8-7. Despite the loss, MIT registered its first winning campaign since 2001.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Junior attacker Dan Piemont earned MITs first Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week selection after helping power the Engineers to their second straight playoff appearance. In a 2-0 week, he recorded seven goals, including a pair of game-winners and man-up scores.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. A 9-3 run that spanned the second and third quarters helped power MIT to a 10-7 victory over Clark University in a Pilgrim Lacrosse League game on Saturday. With the win, the Engineers (8-6, 4-3 Pilgrim) secured a spot in the conference championship tournament for the second year in a row and will continue their season on Wednesday, May 5 at a location to be determined following the conclusion of regular season play. The Cougars closed their campaign with an overall mark of 6-8 and a 2-5 Pilgrim ledger.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Alex Andrzejewski intercepted a pass at midfield and found Dan Piemont for the game-winning goal with three seconds left in overtime to give MIT an 8-7 victory over Norwich University in a Pilgrim Lacrosse League contest on Wednesday. Piemont finished with four goals as the Engineers improved to 7-6 on the year and 3-3 in conference play. Jesse Mattson notched three goals and an assist for the Cadets (8-7, 1-5 Pilgrim).
BABSON PARK, Mass. The Babson College mens lacrosse team defeated visiting MIT, 15-9 on Saturday afternoon in a Pilgrim League contest at MacDowell Field. Nine different Beavers scored in the win including James Schmidt, who led all players with four goals and one assist. With the win, Babson improved to 9-5 on the season and 4-1 in the Pilgrim League. MIT saw its record move to 6-6 overall and 2-3 in the Pilgrim League.

With two goals and five assists, senior Corey Garvey reached the 100 career-point mark in MITs 12-3 victory over the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in a Pilgrim Lacrosse League tilt on Wednesday night. The Engineers extended their winning streak to four while raising their record to 6-5 overall and 2-2 in conference action. The Buccaneers, led by two goals from Chris Davis, saw their ledger dip to 2-10 on the year and 0-4 in the Pilgrim League.
NEWTON, Mass. The MIT mens lacrosse team improved to a 5-5 overall slate and a 1-2 mark in Pilgrim League play after defeating Lasell College, 5-1, on a rainy and cold Saturday afternoon at Grellier Field. The Lasers fall to a 2-10 mark this season and a 1-3 conference record.

Gabe Blanchet netted three goals and Corey Garvey tallied four points to lead the MIT mens lacrosse team to a 9-6 victory over host University of Massachusetts Boston at the Clark Athletic Center field on Tuesday. With the win, the Engineers improved to 3-4 overall while the Beacons fell to 2-5.
NORTON, Mass.- The Wheaton College men's lacrosse team had four players record at least two goals during a 12-9 victory over visiting MIT in a Pilgrim League opener for both teams on Saturday at Mirrione Stadium. The Lyons, who have won nine of their last 11 meetings with the Engineers, evened their season record at 3-3, while MIT, which played in just its third game since March 17, fell to 2-4.
