Junior Sean Burke (Centennial, Colo.) netted the game-winner with 33 seconds on the clock, resulting in his fifth goal of the day. Senior Chris Johnson (Amherst, Mass.), who tallied a game-high six points on five goals and an assist, accounted for the Cougars’ first five goals of the day.

Rullan Earns Pilgrim League Player of the Week HonorsCAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Following two outstanding performances in net, MIT junior goalie Christopher Rullan (Wexford, Mass.) was selected for Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week accolades. In a 2-0 week for the Engineers, he generated 21 saves, a 2.29 goals against average, and a .840 save percentage as he allowed four goals in 105 minutes of action.

Maritime 12-4CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Seven unanswered goals in the first half gave the MIT men’s lacrosse team a lead it would not relinquish as it went on to record a 12-4 victory over the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in a Pilgrim League game on Saturday afternoon. Slonaker, sophomore Ben Hessels (Laytonsville, Md.), and junior Gabe Blanchet (Hadley, Mass.) each registered two goals for the Engineers. Senior Nate Arminio (Reston, Va.) and freshman Corey Davis (Wakefield, Mass.) both scored twice for the Vikings.
