SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Following an impressive week between the pipes, MIT senior goalie Christopher Rullan (Wexford, Pa.) was voted the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week. The honor is the first for him as well as for the men's lacrosse team this season as he totaled 43 saves, a .768 save percentage, a 6.50 goals against average, 15 groundballs, and four caused turnovers in two games.
Last Tuesday in an 8-4 loss at Salem State University, Rullan posted 17 saves, a .680 save percentage, five groundballs, and two caused turnovers. He followed this up with 26 saves, a .768 save percentage, 10 groundballs, and two caused turnovers in a 5-4 loss to Babson College.
The MIT men's lacrosse team returns to action on Wednesday, April 17 when it hosts conference foe Regis College at 7:00 p.m.
