CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – On the heels of an outstanding senior campaign, Christopher Rullan (Wexford, Pa.) will cap off his MIT men's lacrosse career by playing in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association LaxWorld North-South Senior Game to be held at Cabrini College on Friday, May 24. He joins Jack Clifford '48, Chuck Fitzgerald '59, Joe Skenderian '61, and Tim Dorf '88 on the list of selections for the Cardinal and Gray and is the first to compete in the Division III-only game as previous incarnations featured student-athletes from all three NCAA divisions.
A two-time Pilgrim Lacrosse League all-conference first-team pick, Rullan currently ranks eighth in the country in save percentage (.644) and 15th in saves per game (14.73). He paced the conference in save percentage and saves (221), was second in goals against average (8.50), fourth in groundballs (99), and tied for seventh in caused turnovers (17). Rullan registered numerous entries in the MIT recordbook this season as he placed second in caused turnovers (17), fourth in groundballs, seventh in saves, and tied for ninth in save percentage. For his career, he stands second all-time in saves (785) and caused turnovers (37), third in groundballs (282), and seventh in goals against average (8.60) and save percentage (.613).
