Men’s Lacrosse Takes NEWMAC Opener Over Coast Guard, 14-6
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In a game played in a steady snow throughout, MIT and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy opened the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men’s lacrosse season this afternoon. The Engineers scored five goals in the first period and never looked back as they took a 14-6 victory over the Bears.

Men's Lacrosse Falls to Lynn, 16-9
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Facing its second NCAA Division II opponent of the week, the MIT men’s lacrosse team fell to Lynn University, 16-9, on Wednesday night. Freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) led the way for the Engineers (5-2) with three goals, one assist, and three groundballs.

Fourth-Quarter Run Pushes Florida Tech Past MIT, 14-7
MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech, ranked No. 12 in Division II, outscored MIT, 8-1, in the fourth quarter, en route to a 14-7 victory on Monday night at Palm Bay High School’s Pirate Stadium. Sophomore Michael Traub (Aliso Viejo, Calif.) paced the Engineers (5-1) with three goals and an assist to go along with three groundballs.

Big First Half Powers Engineers to 12-8 Victory over Gordon
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – A 7-1 run that spanned 25 minutes in the first half propelled the MIT men’s lacrosse team to a 12-8 victory over Gordon College at Roberts Field on Thursday afternoon. Sophomore Harris Stolzenberg (Weston, Fla.) generated a game-high five points on a goal and four assists to go along with five groundballs for the Engineers (5-0). Junior Roger Evans (Oxford, Pa.) paced the Fighting Scots with four goals as their ledger lowered to 3-5 for the year.

Late Fourth-Quarter Goal Lifts MIT Past Wentworth, 11-9
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) halted a fourth quarter comeback, netting the game's final goal at 2:14, which lifted the Engineers to an 11-9 victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology on Tuesday afternoon at Roberts Field at Steinbrenner Stadium.

Fourth-Quarter Run Propels Men's Lacrosse Past UNE, 12-10
BIDDEFORD, Maine – Freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) scored two goals late in the fourth quarter to cap the only three-goal run for either side in the contest as MIT secured a 12-10 men's lacrosse victory over the University of New England on Saturday afternoon. The Engineers improve to 3-0 on the year, leveling the all-time series with the Nor'easters (3-2) at two games apiece. The net score over the four meetings is 39-39.

Late Goal Lifts MIT Past Skidmore, 9-8
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With less than two minutes left in regulation freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) scored what proved to be the game-winning goal as MIT edged Skidmore College, 9-8, in a non-conference men’s lacrosse game.

Strong Second Half Leads MIT Past Emmanuel, 10-5, in Men’s Lacrosse
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The MIT men’s lacrosse team outscored Emmanuel College, 8-1, in the second half to come from behind and defeat the Saints, 10-5, on Wednesday night. Senior Chris Cook (Tully, N.Y.) recorded a hat-trick in the Engineers’ season opener while junior Michael Donovan (Assonet, Mass.) paced Emmanuel (1-2) with two goals and an assist in addition to posting four groundballs and two caused turnovers.
