  • No. 4 Men's Swimming and Diving Sweeps No. 6 NYU & No. 17 Williams in Double-Dual

    Williamstown, Mass. (January 19) - In a double-dual meet with three of the top-17 teams in Division III, the No. 4 nationally-ranked MIT men's swimming and diving team defeated both No. 6 NYU, 177-123, and No. 17 Williams College, 204-88, on Friday afternoon in Western Massachusetts. As a team, MIT swept the top-3 spots in the 100-free, the top-2 spots in the 200-back and had three of the top 6 finishers in the 50-free, 100-fly and the 400-IM.
  • No. 4 Men's Swimming and Diving Tops No. 22 Coast Guard, 189-103

    Cambridge, Mass. (January 13) - Powered by multiple wins by junior Brandon McKenzie (Brigantine, N.J.) and sophomore David Morejon (Humble, Texas), the No. 4 MIT swimming and diving team defeated No. 22 Coast Guard, 189-103, on Saturday afternoon in Cambridge. As a team, MIT won 12 of a possible 16 contested events today to improve to 5-1 in dual meets this season.
  • McKenzie and 800 Free Relay Earn NEWMAC Athlete of the Week Honors

    Westwood, Mass. (December 4) – After a very successful Winter Invitational this past weekend, the No. 4 ranked MIT men’s swimming and diving team has earned two New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) weekly awards, when the league announced its selections this afternoon.
  • Men's Swimming and Diving Breaks Three Pool Record En Route to Winter Invite Title

    Cambridge, Mass. (December 3) - The No. 4 ranked MIT men’s swimming and diving team set three pool records and swam 14 NCAA “B” cut times en route to the 2017 Winter Invitation title. Bouke Edskes (Rockville, Md.) individually set the pool record in the 100-fly and then teamed up with the 200-medley relay to accomplish the same feat this morning, while the 400-free relay team broke the pool record to end the meet tonight.
  • No. 4 Men's Swimming and Diving Extends Lead on Day Two of Winter Invite

    Cambridge, Mass. (December 2) - The No. 4 ranked MIT men’s swimming and diving team extended its lead in the team standings on the second day of the 2017 MIT Winter Invitational as the Engineers registered 16 NCAA “B” cut times between prelims and finals.
  • Men's 800 Free Relay Smashes School, Pool & NEWMAC Records on Night One of Winter Invite

    Cambridge, Mass. (December 1) - On the first night of the 2017 MIT Winter Invitational, the MIT men's 800 free relay broke the school, pool and NEWMAC open record as well as achieved an NCAA "B" cut time with a mark of 6:38.79 in the meet's opening event.

    Cambridge, Mass. (November 18) - The No. 4 MIT men's swimming and diving team swept the top-3 positions in nine different events en route to victories over No. 23 WPI, 244-50, and Bowdoin College, 250-43, on Saturday afternoon inside the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center Pool.

  • Josh Graves and Men’s 400 Free Relay Earn NEWMAC Athlete of the Week Accolades

(November 13) – Junior Josh Graves (Tustin, Calif.) and the 400 free relay team comprised of Jeremy Bogle (Weston, Mass.), David Morejon (Humble, Texas), Emilio Sison (Annandale, Va.) and Joshua Tomazin (Austin, Texas) have all been named as New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Athletes of the Week for their performances against Division I Cornell University and Brown University over the weekend. 
  • No. 4 Men's Swimming and Diving Falls Short To Division I Brown, 192-103

    Providence, R.I. (November 11) - The MIT men’s swimming and diving team fell to Division I Brown University on the road of Saturday evening by a score of 192-103. During the meet, however, Bouke Edskes (Rockville, Md.), Sam Ubellacker (Georgetown, Ky.), Samuel Solomon (Rockville, Md.) and the 200-free relay team registered marks that rank in the top-12 among all Division III student-athletes.

    Cambridge, Mass. (November 10) - The No. 4 MIT men’s swimming and diving team earned a hard fought 122-121 win over Division I foe Cornell University on Friday evening in Cambridge behind two relays which swam the second fastest times in the nation and five individual event victories.

(November 4) - In the season opener for the No. 4 nationally-ranked MIT men’s swimming and diving team, the Engineers won 13 of 16 contested events and defeated Springfield College in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) dual meet on Saturday afternoon in Western Massachusetts.
  • No. 4 Men’s Swimming and Diving Selected First In NEWMAC Preseason Poll

    Westwood, Mass. (October 27) – In the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men’s swimming and diving preseason coaches’ poll, which was released by the league this morning, the No. 4 nationally-ranked MIT men’s swimming and diving team was picked the win the conference championship for the tenth straight year. The Engineers earned six of a possible seven first place votes, with each head coach not allowed to vote for their own team.
  • MIT Swimming and Diving Releases 2017-18 Schedule

    Cambridge, Mass. (September 8) – The MIT men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs have releases their schedules for the 2017-18 season which will feature five home dual meets, the annual three-day Winter Invitational and four-day New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship. The Engineers will be under the guidance of third-year Mary Frances Wagley ’47 Head Coach Dani Korman.
  • MIT Swimming and Diving Adds 21 For 2017-18 Season

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (August 15) – A combined 21 incoming freshmen - 10 men and 11 women - will be added to the MIT men's and women's swimming and diving teams this fall, as announced by Mary Frances Wagley '47 Head Coach Dani Korman.
