Men's Tennis Shuts Out Coast Guard

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The MIT men's tennis team notched another conference victory on Saturday. The Engineers didn't give up anything in a 9-0 win over the Coast Guard Bears at JB Carr Tennis Bubble.

Ken Van Tillburg won 8-3 at first doubles with Matthew Skalak and then took care of business 6-1, 6-0 at first singles. Larry Pang and Edwin Zhang were the other players to win both in singles and doubles competition. Pang and Curits Wu won at second doubles 8-4 while Zhang paired with Andrew Cooper to take down third doubles 8-2.

MIT improves to 6-2 overall, 1-0 in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play. They will host Clark University on April 6th at 4:00 PM.
