CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Regionally-ranked No. 10 MIT fell to No. 12 Vassar College, 7-2, in its spring season opener on Saturday. With the loss, the Engineers' ledger lowered to 1-1 on the year while the Brewers improved to 3-0.

Eric Beren and Ken Van Tilburg collaborated for MIT's lone doubles win with a 9-7 decision in the top spot. Peden Nichols and Kevin Pang fell, 8-3, in the next slot while Jonathan Farm and Brendan McCord lost, 8-5.
