CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Thomas Dohlman capped off his illustrious career by being named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America At-Large Third Team. Eric Chen collected inaugural accolades for the men's tennis program seven years ago as a First-Team honoree. The eligible men's sports in the highly competitive At-Large program include fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming and diving, tennis, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling.
The national recipient of the ITA Arthur Ashe, Jr. Award for Sportsmanship and Leadership, Dohlman amassed a career singles record of 35-23 and a doubles ledger of 44-17. He went 1-1 in his second appearance at the NCAA Individual Championship during his first trip as a singles player. Dohlman competed at last season's individual championship with then-doubles partner Evan Tindell. Within the NEWMAC, he has earned four All-Conference honors for doubles and three for singles, including four First-Team selections. Dohlman joins former classmates Mark Egan, Melvin Makhni, and Said Francis as the first three-time NEWMAC Academic All-Conference selections in the program's history.
