Title: Head Coach - Pole Vault
Patrick Barragán began coaching pole vault at MIT in 2008 follow his undergraduate career there. Since then, his vaulters have won numerous New England Division III Championships, had dozens of All-American performances, won the Division III National Championship, and set the Division III record in the women's pole vault. His athletes own every MIT pole vault record except the one still held by Nate Ball '05, another MIT vault coach. Under his watch, MIT pole vault has continued as one of the dominate programs in New England and Division III.

Barragán earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineer and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2008, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineer and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2012, and completed his Doctorate of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering at MIT in 2015.
