MIT Sweeps NECVA New England Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the second time this season, the pair of David Thomas and Matt Hohenberger received weekly accolades from the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England Division. The duo was first selected together on February 8.

Thomas, the division's Player of the Week, compiled 15 kills, a .357 hitting percentage, three digs, two blocks, and one ace in a win over then-nationally-ranked No. 6 Endicott College. He followed this up with six kills, a .455 hitting performance, three digs, two blocks, and an ace in two sets versus Daniel Webster College.

Hohenberger registered 13 kills, a .423 hitting percentage, four aces, three blocks, and three digs against Endicott. In one set at Daniel Webster, he posted three kills, a .333 hitting performance, and an ace. The Rookie of the Week selection is Hohenberger's fifth this year and second in a row.
