CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England Division named David Thomas its Player of the Week while Matt Hohenberger was tabbed for his second Rookie of the Week selection.

Thomas averaged 2.91 kills and 0.82 blocks while playing in 11 sets. Against division-foe Newbury College, he posted eight kills and three blocks. Thomas amassed 13 kills, a .417 hitting percentage, and three blocks versus nationally-ranked No. 10 Vassar College. He wrapped up the week with 11 kills and three blocks at No. 8 Stevens Institute of Technology.

Hohenberger compiled 3.30 kills, 1.00 digs, 0.60 blocks, and 0.50 aces in 10 sets. He notched six digs, five kills, and an ace at Newbury before amassing 20 kills, a .545 hitting percentage, three aces, and three blocks against Vassar. Hohenberger capped the week with eight kills, three digs, three blocks, and one ace versus Stevens.
