CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the second week in
a row the MIT men’s volleyball team received North East
Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England Division
honors as Patrick Vatterott was tabbed for Rookie of the Week
plaudits. As a program, the Engineers earned their fourth league
award of the season.
In three matches, Vatterott racked up 21 kills, a .318 hitting percentage, and 12 blocks. He posted 10 kills, a .391 hitting performance, and eight blocks in a five-set loss to Endicott College. Vatterott notched four kills, four blocks, and two digs versus Wentworth Institute of Technology and then registered seven kills and four blocks against Daniel Webster College.
