Men’s Volleyball Overpowers Southern Vermont

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With a 25-19, 25-9, 25-11 victory over Southern Vermont College on Friday night, the nationally-ranked No. 7 MIT men's volleyball team improved to 10-1 on the year and 6-0 in NECVA New England Division play. The Engineers also saw their conference win streak extend to 12 straight dating back to February 11, 2010.

Ken Siebert powered the Cardinal and Gray with 16 kills to go along with five digs and three aces. Matt Hohenberger registered eight kills, eight digs, and two blocks in two sets as Garrett Winther posted six kills and six digs. Patrick Vatterott tacked on six kills and two aces while Jeremy Velazquez contributed four digs. Tim Lee notched 25 assists and five digs as Evan Wang dished out nine assists.
