Why I Chose MIT: It is rare to hear someone say that they have everything they could ask for. But that mentality sums up my four years at MIT. Because MIT is at the forefront of innovation in most academic fields, I have received a very challenging yet excellent education. Learning from world renowned professors and peers who will have amazing futures gives me the confidence to tackle anything put before me. Being in Boston as a college student surrounded by dozens of other universities has provided me infinite social outlets and a college experience that I don't think I could have found elsewhere. Best of all I had the privilege of playing volleyball at an extremely competitive level. I chose MIT because it offers everything I could ask for.
