Why I Chose MIT: There is no place quite like MIT. Every person here has so much to offer and is so enthusiastic; you really get the sense that people here are out to change the world. MIT gives them the know-how and ability to do it. And while MIT presents world-class academics, it is also home to a constructive and competitive athletics program. Varsity sports allow students to play the game they love, and provide them with a family to support them when school becomes rigorous.
