  • Skyler Kaufman Earns UVC Player of the Week Accolades

(January 22) – MIT men’s volleyball junior Skyler Kaufman (Needham, Mass.) has been named as the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) Player of the Week after helping the No. 12 Engineers to a 2-0 start to the season. This marks the first time in Kaufman’s career in which he has been named as the conference Player of the Week.

    Boston, Mass. (January 20) - The No. 12 ranked MIT men's volleyball team opened the 2018 season with victories over Emmanuel College and Alvernia University in a non-conference tri-match on Saturday afternoon in Boston. The Engineers opened the day by sweeping the Saints by a score of 25-21, 25-17, 25-13 and then followed it up with a four-set win against the Crusaders by a score of 26-24, 25-19, 15-25, 25-21.

(September 28) – The MIT men’s volleyball program has announced its slate of games for the 2018 season, which will feature a 26-match schedule that includes nine United Volleyball Conference (UVC) contests and ten home games inside Rockwell Cage. The Engineers, which closed the 2017 campaign ranked No. 15 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III national poll, will be under the direction of first-year head coach Todd Elwell.
