CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Nationally-ranked No. 10 MIT overcame a deficit late in the fourth game to record a 30-21, 30-14, 20-30, 33-31, victory over North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England Division foe Lasell College on Monday night. Scott Pollom led the Engineers (5-1, 3-0 NECVA) with a strong hitting performance as he finished with 21 kills with two errors in 36 attempts for a .528 hitting percentage while posting four blocks.
Praveen Pamidimukkala notched his first double-double of the season by tallying 20 kills and 16 digs while Eric Reuland added 14 digs, 12 kills, and four blocks. Michael Demyttenaere bolstered MIT's defense with five blocks as Ryan Dean contributed 11 digs. Eugene Jang picked up 10 digs and two aces while Philip Rogoz distributed 52 assists.
