CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Following a 30-23, 30-22, 30-26 victory, the nationally-ranked No. 11 MIT men's volleyball improved to 7-4 on the year and 6-1 in NECVA New England Division action. In addition, the Engineers extended their winning streak to a season-best four matches.
Scott Pollom had a solid outing for MIT as he finished with eight kills, a hitting percentage of .389, and a team-high seven blocks and three aces. Michael Demyttenaere notched eight kills on 12-errorless attempts for a .667 hitting percentage to go along with three blocks. Praveen Pamidimukkala posted a team-high 11 kills and nine digs while Matthew Ng and Ryan Dean each tallied eight digs. Randolph Li registered three blocks in two games as Philip Rogoz and Tim Lee dished out 23 and nine assists, respectively.
