CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – A balanced hitting attack would not be enough for the MIT men’s volleyball team as Elms College recorded a 30-21, 30-28, 35-33 victory in NECVA New England action on Saturday. David Thomas paced the Engineers (4-7, 3-3 NECVA) with 13 kills to go along with three blocks.
Eric Reuland registered 10 kills, five digs, and four blocks as Scott Pollom notched eight kills, a .583 hitting percentage, and three blocks. Michael Demyttenaere amassed eight kills, six blocks, and two aces while Jeremy Velazquez and Eugene Jang posted seven and six digs, respectively. Tim Lee compiled 31 assists and five digs in two games as Philip Rogoz dished out 10 assists.
