CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With a 30-24, 30-28, 30-23 victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology, the MIT’ men’s volleyball team raised its ledger to 13-9 on the year and 7-3 in North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) competition. The decision extended the Engineers’ winning streak to eight and also completed a sweep of the season series with the Leopards.
Michael Demyttenaere dominated the net, tallying 20 kills, a .517 hitting percentage and four blocks. Scott Pollom recorded an efficient outing, totaling eight kills, a. 438 hitting percentage, and five blocks. Eric Reuland paced the defense with 11 digs while Tim Lee finished with 37 assists and four blocks.
