CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Nationally-ranked No. 14 MIT extended its winning streak to four after it posted a 30-24, 24-30, 30-18, 30-26 victory over Elms College on Wednesday night. The Engineers now stand at 15-4 on the year.
Ryan Dean recorded his third double-double of the season on a career-high 44 assists and a team-high 11 digs. He also contributed three solo and two assisted blocks. Bob Aspell had a strong outing as he tallied a career-high six aces, six kills, and five total blocks. Praveen Pamidimukkala paced the Engineers' attack with 19 kills and added nine digs while Scott Pollom notched four assisted blocks. Alex Borschow reached double figures for the second time this season in the kill column as he totaled 10 while Michelangelo Raimondi finished right behind him with nine.
