April 26, 2007

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Following the MIT men's volleyball team's phenomenal season in which it established 27 Institute records, it added three more accolades from the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA). Junior Praveen Pamidimukkala was named the conference's Player of the Year and was selected to the All-Conference First Team. Head coach Paul Dill received Co-Coach of the Year plaudits after collecting New England Division honors.

Pamidimukkala raised his overall NECVA awards career total to four after earning his second consecutive All-Conference First Team pick and Rookie of the Year honors in 2005. Dill collected his first conference-wide award since taking over the program in 2004.
