Navy Defeats MIT Water Polo, 21-9

PRINCETON, N.J. - In its second game of the Eastern Championship at Princeton University, the MIT water polo team lost to Navy, 21-9. Sophomore Jack Clark (Laguna Beach, Calif.) scored the most goals among the Engineers, tallying three throughout the game.

Five of the nine MIT goals were scored by freshmen. Ory Tasman (Orlando, Fla.) scored twice and Matthew Orton (Los Altos Hills, Calif.), Kale Rogers (Newberg, Ore.) and Zach Nelson (La Jolla, Calif.) all scored once. Junior Craig Cheney (Sherwood, Ore.) also netted a ball.

Navy's keeper Anthony Gutierrez made five saves, while senior goalie Kevin Hsiue (Alamo, Calif.) totaled six saves.

MIT will face Harvard at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday to fight for seventh place.
