Logan Trimble enters his second season as an assistant coach of the MIT men’s and women’s cross country programs. Trimble graduated from MIT in 2013 with a degree in chemical engineering and an impressive list of accomplishments on the track and trails.
Trimble earned All-America honors in the distance medley relay in 2013 and 2011, and was the 2013 NEWMAC Champion in the 3000m steeplechase. Trimble served as a captain of the men’s cross country team as a senior, and was a member of the squad that finished 12th at the 2010 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.
Trimble is an associate scientist in the process development group at Bluebird Bio, a clinical-stage gene therapy startup in Cambridge.
