SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The men's cross country team raced to a sixth place finish in the 43 team NCAA Division III Qualifier on Saturday. Junior Kevin Brulois led the way for the Engineers with a 22nd place finish. Owen Kiely of Wesleyan was the individual winner of the 8k race with a time of 25:01.04, while the Tufts University squad won the competition with five of the top 20 runners.
Finishing behind Brulois for the Engineers was freshman Jake Ruzevick (27), freshman Trevor Rundell (40), senior Fivos Constantinou (43), senior Eric Khatchadourian (54), junior Spencer Dudley (97) and sophomore Erik Stafl (100). None of the MIT harriers qualified for a NCAA championship bid.
