Women's Basketball Defeats Rivier, 73-59

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - A season-high 73 points helped lead MIT to a 73-59 victory over Rivier College on Thursday night. The Engineers (4-16) also set season-high marks with 23 assists and 61 rebounds.

Sharon Prange led all scorers with a career-high 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the floor and the free throw line. She also contributed seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal. Kimberly Eri Soo Hoo also had a career-night, dishing out eight assists while tallying 14 points. Karen Kinnaman notched 11 boards and nine points while Christa Margossian collected a team-high 12 caroms. Coming off the bench, Cherelle Walls registered 11 points, nine rebounds and three blocks. Joanna Natsios finished with a team-high three steals while Stephanie Chiang added a career-high seven points.
