BABSON PARK, Mass. - Babson College recorded a 66-33 victory over MIT in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's basketball contest on Tuesday night. It was the seventh straight win for the Beavers, who improved to 16-8 overall and 11-1 in the conference, while the Engineers dropped to 4-18 overall and 0-12 in the NEWMAC.

Babson used an 11-1 run midway through the first half to take a commanding 36-17 lead into the break. The Beavers then outscored the Engineers, 30-16, in the second half on their way to the 66-33 win.

Tech was led by Cherelle Walls and Karen Kinnaman, who each scored seven points. Christa Margossian added six points and a team-high seven rebounds.
