Katie Inman returns to the MIT lightweight women’s staff this fall for her third year as a volunteer coach.
Inman began rowing spring of 2007 for the Indianapolis Rowing Center on Eagle Creek Reservoir in Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating high school, she joined the MIT lightweight women as a recruited rower in fall of 2009 and rowed for the varsity team all four years. She was voted Most Inspiration Oarswoman in 2012 and served as a team co-captain for the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons.
A 2013 graduate of MIT, Inman was a member of Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma, both engineering honor societies. She has since been working in medical devices and currently works as a Project Engineer for Portal Instruments, a small medical device startup near MIT. She is also taking night classes in hopes of someday going to medical school.
Off of the water, she is running, lifting, or traveling as much as possible.
