Women's Openweight Crew Wraps Up Fall Racing at the Foot of the Charles

THE BASICS:

- Location: Boston, Mass. (Charles River)

- The Lead: At Foot of the Charles regatta on a blustery Saturday, the MIT openweight women's crew team wrapped up the fall racing season with a pair of varsity 8 boats.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- The MIT "A" boat, with junior Annie Zhang (Campbell, Calif.) as the coxswain, finished in 10th place out of 17 boats as the Engineers finished in a time of 22:19.4. The MIT "B" boat was 17th overall, crossing in 24:09.8. The "A" boat consisted of just one senior with senior Abbey Diener (Draper, Utah) in the No. 7 seat, while the "B" crew had sophomore Sharon Chen (Huntersville, N.C.) as the coxswain.
