      <description>COLUMBUS, Ohio. &#x2013; Making her third appearance at the NCAA Fencing Championship junior Robin Shin (Brookline, Mass.) finished in 20th place in the sabre competition. The lone Division III representative, she defeated foes from Notre Dame, St. John&#x2019;s, Harvard, North Carolina, and UC San Diego.</description>

      <description>CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. &#x2013; For the second year in a row junior Robin Shin (Brookline, Mass.) earned a spot at the upcoming NCAA Fencing Championship, this time courtesy of a fourth-place sabre finish at the NCAA Northeast Regional held on Sunday at Boston College. Freshman Sarah Alkilany (Brooklyn, N.Y.) ranked eighth in the epee competition, resulting in the first at-large spot for the field. Freshman Rebecca Shi (Plainsboro, N.J.) had the best showing for the foil team as she secured 24th place.</description>

      <description>CAMBRIDGE, Mass. &#x2013; Junior Robin Shin (Brookline, Mass.) was selected the Women&#x2019;s Fencer of the Year by the Northeast Fencing Conference, becoming the first person in the history of the MIT women&#x2019;s fencing program to accomplish this feat. She also represented the Engineers on the sabre all-star first team while senior Molly Kozminsky (Port Matilda, Pa.) was tabbed to the sabre second team. Freshman Sarah Alkilany (Brooklyn, N.Y.) rounded out the Cardinal and Gray with epee second team accolades.</description>

      <description>POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. &#x2013; At the New England Intercollegiate Fencing Conference Championship on Saturday, junior Robin Shin (Brookline, Mass.) won the second sabre title of her career while freshman Sarah Alkilany (Brooklyn, N.Y.) placed third in the epee competition. MIT finished fourth out of 14 teams in the overall rankings while a record of 32-6 put the sabre squad atop the standings for the fourth year in a row.</description>

The sabre squad compiled a total of 14-13, followed by the epee team (11-16), and the foil unit (8-19).</description>
