Erin Broderick was added to the MIT field hockey coaching staff in the summer of 2012. The appointment is her first in the intercollegiate ranks as she previously served as a coach at the Stevens Institute of Technology Field Hockey Camp, the Garden State Games, and the Long Island Fishsticks Club Indoor Field Hockey team.
A captain and four-year starter at Stevens, Broderick powered the Ducks to NCAA tournament appearances in 2008 and 2009. She was a two-time Empire 8 all-conference selection and was named the 2009 Empire 8 Conference Tournament MVP. Broderick capped off her career by being named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association North Atlantic All-Region first team.
Broderick graduated from Stevens in 2010 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
