CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Alexa Herman collected a season-high 17 saves in MIT's 4-0 loss to UMass-Dartmouth on Thursday in non-conference field hockey action. The Engineers' record now stands at 3-4 on the year.
The Corsairs notched the opening goal of the contest with eight minutes remaining in the first half. UMass-Dartmouth doubled its lead less than a minute later.
The game remained scoreless until 15 minutes had expired in the second stanza when the Corsairs extended their advantage to 3-0. UMass-Dartmouth quickly tallied the final goal within a span of two minutes.
