BOSTON, Mass. – For the 21st season in a row, the MIT women's lacrosse team was represented on the NEWMAC All-Conference team as sophomores Kira Schott (New Canaan, Conn.) and Isabella DiDio (Jenkintown Pa.) were honored by the league. First-time selections, Schott was tabbed to the first team while DiDio earned a spot on the second team.
Schott set Institute records for goals in a season (61), draw controls in a season (91), and career draw controls (151). She ranked third in the NEWMAC in goals and draw controls, fifth in points (70), sixth in groundballs (41), and 11th in caused turnovers (16). DiDio paced the conference in groundballs (63), was fourth in goals (59), sixth in points (66) and draw controls (62), and 15th in caused turnovers (15).
